The Farm

Suatoni family is the owner of the Agricultural Farm and

of the oil mill too. 
"Il Frantoio" is situated at 1 kilometer far from the

historical center of Amelia.
The farm contains over 1,000 plants of olive-trees, 800

of them planted after the terrible winter of the 1985.

We produce only extra-virgin oil of olive that comes

from our olive-trees and also from other neighbouring

farms.

 

Il Frantoio is exclusively extra-virgin oil of olive, having a low degree of acidity, that in the beginning of the

oil-season (first days of november) doesn't reach the

0,15%. All this follows that an accurate choice of the raw
product.

Of green color with a delicate smell, its taste contains a

cool flavour with a touch of almond; suitable for very type

of cooking, you can appreciate the best quality when you

use it raw.
